The history of NORIAN
NORIAN has a long history and the first customers started back in the late 1990s. Today's company structure has been formally established the 1st of September 2017 when NORIAN was demerged from OpusCapita. The business has been at the same time bought by the Norwegian PE fund Longship together with Husvika AS (owned by CEO of NORIAN, Knut Anders Opstad). In 2018 it has been established a Partner model where several employees with leadership positions or special expertise have also become owners of shares in NORIAN.
Internationally, NORIAN has 14 Offices in 6 Countries and about 600 employees. We have huge collaborations between Departments and Countries, sharing common support functions, systems, expertise, guidelines and culture. NORIAN has about 1500 customers, both small, medium and large international Companies, representing a wide range of industries.
